How can I get my Lifetime Warranty re-activated?
To keep your Lifetime Warranty cover valid, you need to take your vehicle to an authorised Opel repairer every 12 months. They'll activate and validate the warranty extension for another year, starting 12 months after registration and then on each anniversary of registration.
We allow you a grace period of 14 days after the expiry date to get the warranty re-activated and validated.
By re-activating and validating your cover each year, we are confirming that your vehicle has been serviced in line with Opel's recommended servicing schedules and using genuine Opel parts, including oils. So we may request details of your service history at any time during the warranty period.
If you are having issues with re-activating your lifetime warranty then please call the Lifetime Warranty Helpdesk on: 0345 401 0210.

I've bought a used Opel. Am I entitled to a Lifetime Warranty?
No. Lifetime Warranty is only valid for a Opel's first registered owner. It starts from the date of delivery by the authorised Opel Retailer or date of first registration, whichever comes first. So as an owner of a used vehicle, you're not entitled to a Lifetime Warranty
I've just bought a Opel. Is there still a warranty on it?
Warranty is attached to the vehicle and not the owner.
A Opel vehicle will be covered by new car warranty, for unlimited mileage, for the first 12 months from first registration, or up to 3 years and 60,000 miles from first registration.
Movano and Vivaro have the same coverage, but up to 100,000 miles

What are the Lifetime Warranty terms and conditions?
Our Lifetime Warranty is valid for the first registered owner of a Opel bought at an authorised Opel Retailer on or after 1 August 2010. It starts from the date of delivery by the Retailer or date of first registration, whichever comes first.
Our new-vehicle warranty will cover your car for 3 years / 60,000 miles. Once it exceeds this, the Lifetime Warranty kicks in, as long as your car is:
• Taken each year to an Authorised Opel Repairer, who activates and validates the warranty extension for another year.
• Serviced in line with our recommended schedules and using genuine Opel parts, including oils.
Please ensure you keep all records and copies of invoices.
