Find the right wallbox for your electric car
The most convenient way to charge your electric car at home is with an ac home charging station. Wallboxes are optimally adapted to your vehicle and charge the battery much faster and more safely than any conventional household socket.
Wallboxes (or wall charging stations) are easy to operate and can be used directly after professional installation thanks to the autostart mode. More advanced smart wallboxes also offer you helpful additional functions: for example, you can share your wallbox with other users via an app, manage access rights, plan charging times and even create application reports.
When buying a wallbox, look out for the differences in the integrated charging unit of your electric car (on-board charger, OBC), the electrical phases and the charging speed. Or you can go directly to our shop - where you will definitely find the Wallbox or Smart Wallbox that best suits your Opel.

Everything about wallboxes
What kind of power connection does a wallbox need?
A 3-phase wallbox requires a high-voltage connection, because your electric car can only be fully charged in around 5 hours with 11 kW of power. 1-phase wallboxes do not require a high-voltage connection. Since their charging power is only 4.6 kW, it takes much longer to charge. In principle, the more power you have, the faster your battery will be full again.
Which wallbox do I need for my home?
That depends on which electric car you drive, what conditions you have at home - and what you need: do you only want to charge as quickly as possible at home - or rather overnight? Do you need a smart charging option that can be tracked and controlled via an app? We offer you the ideal charging solutions as well as the matching cables for household and industrial sockets. For faster charging, we recommend our 11 kW wallboxes, which can fully charge your electric car in around 5 hours.
Who can install a wall box?
A high-voltage connection is always necessary for the installation of a wallbox, so this must be carried out by a professional. This can be your trusted electrician, but there are also companies that specialise in charging stations. The best thing is to talk to our Opel partner, Inno2Grid. They can install a wallbox for you that's ready for immediate use.
How much does a home charging station cost?
That depends entirely on your needs: How fast do you want to be able to charge your electric car? Will your wallbox be installed so that only you have access to it - or do you want to manage it via an app so that others can also use it? Our wallboxes, which range in price from €754.47 to €1,294.17, cover all the bases.
Can I charge my electric car at home?
Of course you can! The best way to charge your electric car at home is with an AC wallbox. Even with an energy transfer rate of up to 11 kW, this is much faster than using a household socket (1.8 kW) - because the latter is not actually suitable for delivering high electrical power over a longer period of time. It's like running a kettle for 10 hours - contacts, cables and connections are simply not designed for that.
