Electronic Stability Control (esc) 
Even when faced with challenging road conditions, this feature keeps you and your business on track: Along with Traction Control, the ESC system uses wheel-braking and engine-braking to limit wheelspin in the case of loss of grip. An integrated Load Adaptive Control system helps to maintain the new Movano’s original course in difficult conditions by adapting the vehicle’s ESC according to the weight and distribution of the payload. The ESC includes also Cross Wind Assist, Roll Over Mitigation and Hill Holder. 
Adaptive Cruise Control 

The new Movano’s Adaptive Cruise Control1 eases the burden on your drivers in stressful, monotonous traffic situations. The system sets and automatically adjusts speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead, providing functionality between 31 km/h and the vehicle's top speed. It works with a camera on the windscreen and proximity radar located on the front bumper.

Traffic Jam Assist 

Experience a more relaxed drive during daily rush hours: The Traffic Jam Assist1 can automatically bring the vehicle to a complete stop and return to the set speed when traffic begins to move again.

Trailer Safety Asset1

Does your company use trailers? Then this feature will certainly be useful to you. The new Opel Movano offers three specific trailer safety functions:

 

  • Automatic Trailer Detection to determine the presence or absence of a towed trailer.
  • Trailer Length Detection to estimate the length of a trailer. 
  • Extended Blind Spot Alert to detect neighbouring vehicles in the trailers path when changing lanes.

Trailer Stability Control 

Avoids the danger of swinging trailers: Opel’s Trailer Stability Control1 is a smart system that monitors the steadiness of a towed trailer and automatically adjusts vehicle speed.

Digital central rear-view mirror1

This safety feature keeps the rear of your van in view: In the new Movano the central rear-view mirror becomes a digital 8.9’’ LCD high-resolution display. When driving, it provides an unobstructed and clear view of the road behind, thanks to a wide-angle, high-definition camera located inside the rear third stop lamp bracket. Auto-dimming, activation and brightness control by buttons located on the mirror.

Advanced Brake Assist
To make sure that your business doesn’t accidentally slow down: The system acoustically warns the driver of dangerous situations ahead. If another vehicle gets too close the system automatically initiates braking should the driver fail to react.  
Rear Cross Path Detection

Avoid unnecessary collisions and annoying downtimes with new Movano’s Rear Cross Path Detection1 feature. The active safety system uses sensors to detect upcoming vehicles from the side, when reversing. It helps to prevent accidents when manoeuvring, particularly on vehicles with a limited view angle.

360°  Park Assist 

Parking made easy. With the new Movano’s 360° Park Assist1, the driver receives acoustic and visual warnings on the instrument cluster triggered by sensors.
