Never gets tired: The new Zafira Electric’s motor is powered by capable lithium-ion batteries, equipped with either 50 kWh for a range of up to 224 km1, or a 75 kWh for a range of up to 350 km1. Thanks to high energy-density cells and advanced power management, you can always stay relaxed and rely on the displayed range prediction.

The range and electric consumption figures mentioned are preliminary and comply with the WLTP test procedure, on the basis of which new vehicles are type approved from 1 September 2018. EG type approval and Certificate of Conformity are not yet available. The preliminary values might differ from official final type approval data. These may vary depending on actual conditions of use and on different factors such as: speed, thermal comfort on board the vehicle, driving style and outside temperature. The charging time depends in particular on the power of the charger on board the vehicle, the charging cable and the type and power of the charging station used. Regenerative braking
The new Zafira Electric drives smoothly – not just for the benefit of passengers, but for maximum energy and cost efficiency too. While driving, as soon as you lift your foot off the accelerator pedal, the regenerative braking system recaptures kinetic energy and converts that power into even more range. Using the steering wheel-mounted paddles, the driver can choose between different levels of regeneration, and in the highest setting, most short journeys can be driven with hardly any use of the traditional brakes, reducing wear and associated maintenance costs.

The new Zafira Electric’s fast charging means you’ll never keep your family or clients waiting. Its high-energy density 50 kWh battery charges up to 80 % in just 38 minutes, while the 75 kWh battery likewise reaches 80 % of maximum capacity in just 45 minutes when using any 100 kW public charger.
