Regenerative braking
The Opel Astra Electric uses a state-of-the-art regenerative braking system to recapture the energy that would normally be lost while slowing down, for even more electric range. It not only recovers the energy generated when you apply the brakes, but is also active when the Astra Electric is coasting.
